I'm having a problem with the program.

Why did the download fail?

Tripod sometimes sets up their system so when you try to download a file from a site they host you are sent to a download page. Some people mistake this page for a File Not Found page. All you have to do is click on the link to the file on that page and download should begin. Unfortunately, this can confuse some download managers, so their use here is discouraged.

The other cause may be that the Tripod server is busy. Please try again later. Since the file is hosted locally (the same place as the page), I have access to it and it's not a bad link.

How do I register the program?

Registration is no longer necessary for the program. Too many people were dishonest or confused and didn't register properly. Please sign my guestbook; though it isn't required, I do enjoy reading about people who enjoy my site and program.

Does this program have spyware or anything?

I have added no spyware or adware to the Sailor Moon Infodex. Some people add that to their programs to make money off of them. The Sailor Moon Infodex was done as a learning exercise when I was studying Visual C++ 6.0. I have never attempted to profit from it in anyway.

If you are a paranoid type like me, I'd suggest you get the free version (or full version) of ZoneAlarm, a full featured firewall for Windows that will tell you when any software tries to connect to the Internet. This lets you confirm what programs are connecting to the Internet and if you don't think a program has any reason to be doing that, you can stop it from sending/receiving any data. ZoneAlarm really is a great program.

Is it safe to install?

The program was thoroughly scanned with Norton AntiVirus before upload. I advise you to scan it yourself after download for piece of mind, as I suggest you scan ALL software before you install, even software you bought from the store.

Is it safe to uninstall?

The program has an uninstaller included. You can simply open up the program's folder and click on it. Otherwise, you should go to Control Panel and choose Add/Remove Programs. You will see it listed and you can uninstall from there.

I like the program! Can I offer it from my site?

Sure, I'd love to get the program more exposure. You can choose to either link to http://embark.to/Infodex or store it on your site. The first one is preferable, so you won't have to update everytime I release a new version.

One other requirement is that you mention that the person should send me an email at <> to let me know they downloaded it. Also, if you host it I'd appreciate an email telling me you are posting a copy of my program on your site.

Mailing List Questions

The mailing list was discontinued due to the overwhelming number of registrations and drop off in number/importance of updates. I may update again sometime in the future, but right now I don't have the time. Sorry.

I'm having a problem with the program.

There is a complete help system included with the download of the program. Either right-click on an open area of the program window and select the Help option, or double click on the help file in the program's folder. If you can't find what you need feel free to me.
